Double chocolate protein cookies

Stop what you’re doing right now and go make these cookies! These double chocolate cookies have no added sugar, (depending which chocolate chips you use) and they are dairy and gluten free. These are the easiest cookies to make for a quick, healthy treat to curb that chocolate craving.

The ingredients for these are extremely similar to my protein balls except I add more almond milk to make them a bit stickier.. that’s it! You can either bake these ingredients into cookies or roll them into a ball and place them in the fridge. I love how what I thought was messing up a recipe actually was creating something even better!


Here’s the recipe for the double chocolate protein cookies-


 

8 dates (pitted)

1 cup gf oats

1/3 c peanut butter

2 scoops collagen powder

1/4 c cacao powder

sprinkle of salt

1/8- 1/4c almond milk

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions-


1. Blend together the dates and oats in a blender until dates become pea sized.


2. Add the remainder ingredients except the chocolate chips and blend. Add more almond milk if you need to but start with 1/8c.

3. Add chocolate chips and blend just until combined.

4. Scoop batter out and make into a ball and place on a cookie sheet. Smoosh down to make it look like a cookie.

5. (Makes around 8 cookies) Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
